This is $12,000
over last year. Thank you to all who helped.
3. We welcome a new
sister to our Diocese:
Sr. Adria
Connors, CSC
Sister will live
with Srs. Patricia and Mary Margaret and
share her gifts
through “A Place for Women to Gather.”
4. The Sisters Stipend
for 2006-2007 with show a 3% increase over
last year’s
stipend.
5. The Sisters
participating in the Chrism Mass will be …

Marie … questions for the Bishop’s renewal
Srs. Joan
Jurski, Margaret Holleran, and Barbara Marie will
carry the
oils to be blessed.
6. Evaluation of Jubilee
…. it seems that all went well for the Jubilee.
The article
about the Jubilarians will be in the April or May
NC Catholic.
The interviews of the Jubilarians with Frank
Morock were
well done.
7. Sr. Joan will check
on getting our website linked to the Vocation
section on the
Diocesan website.
8. At the next meeting
we will set a Jubilee date for 2007. We would
like to
establish a SET DATE which is the same each year.
e.g. the second
Saturday of February….
9. The remainder of the
meeting was spent looking at the results of
the Survey for the
new Bishop. We feel that this can give us some
direction for the
Council. We will look at possibilities at the
next meeting. We
hope to them invite any sisters who are
willing to help us
formulate plans for the future which we can
present to the new
Bishop. If you sent in the survey, email
Sr. Mary Jean and
she will send you a copy of the results.

10. At present we have
received word that the following Sister Marge
Polys, IHM will
be leaving the diocese during the summer.
11. We are hoping that
you have responded to the information sent
to you last week
regarding the Immigration Legislation now in
Congress.
12. The next meeting of
the Council will be from 3-5p.m. on Friday
May 19th. This
will be followed by dinner. Sr. Joan will arrange
for a place for
dinner.
