·        Pictures to be taken(Sr. Joan)

·        Invitations (Sr. Mary Jean)

·        Liturgy prep and program(Sr. Gerry, Jubilarians, Sr. Janet and Sr, Mary Margaret) ,,,, needs to be ready for printing Dec. 15th

·        Gifts for Jubilarians(Sr. Joanna)

·        Introduction at Liturgy(Sr. Joan)

·        Greeters(Sr. Shirley)

Annual Gathering with Bishop … Sept. 15, 2007^.

·        Hospitality of CGHS was much in evidence

·        Liturgy was a great celebration

·        Meeting with Bishop surfaced, primarily, concern for the issues surrounding immigration. Sr. Lois is following up on ways we, as sisters, might impact the resolution of this issue

·        We might look at a way to reflect in a focused and structured way

Annual Gathering … Sept, 2008

·        Overnite at North Raleigh Hilton … forms for reservation will be completed and sent to the sisters after the next meeting… Council will cover the cost for all sisters

·        Format for our evening together will be discussed at a later meeting

·        Saturday morning will be Mass, sharing and lunch, with the Bishop at Our Lady of Lourdes

Other items discussed …

·        Srs. Joan and Barbara Marie will be contacting the Bishop to see how we can follow up on items discussed with him at the last meeting

·        Sr. Martha Alvarado Morena has joined the sisters at Kill Devil Hills … Sr. Barbara Marie sent a welcome note

·        Cards have been sent to: Fr. Tom David(death of mother), Msgr. Jerry Sherba(illness)

·        We want to encourage Sisters to take the opportunity to be present at the Vocation Holy Hours since they are moving around the diocese this year
